Secret Agency / Defenders of the Universe

Chapter Two
Robot or not robot? (Part 1)

Jarlaxle, appearing as a twelve year old, stepped through the muddy puddles that covered the sidewalk. Going to the back of the old building, he opened the door and walked past the guards. "Ha," he thought, "This is the third Agency I've broken into this year!" Proud of himself, he walked into the generator room and stuck a bomb onto it. He ran out of the room, running to a guard. "Sir, Sir, there's a bad guy in that room. He pointed the gun at me and-" Jarlaxle stopped as the guard hit him in the face. As the guard walked over to Jarlaxle (who, by the way, landed in a wall), Jarlaxle grinned and laughed. "You'll never hold power over us. The collective will win, just like it always has." The guard was shocked when he heard the loudest boom he had heard in his life. Then... BOOM! The whole place was sent up in an explosion. Luckily, everyone in that building had a built-in shield which protected them from explosions, gunshots, toxins and gunshots. Jarlaxle, being a cyborg, was also not affected. The thirty-some secret agents in that agency took him to the bigger agency, the mall. Roseann, in her office, had heard the loud boom a block away. "Oh, wait till I get my hands on that cyborg!" she thought. Wow, she was angry.

Buck saw what the bad guy did, and he ran over to where Roseann lay. "Then again, she doesn't trust me," he thought, slowing his steps. "What am I saying? I need to know what that disk was," he concluded. He ran into the room, putting a knock-out on her arm. He grabbed the disk, then ran to the scanner. Scanning the disk, he saw that it was important. But not enough information for him to see why Roseann could be a target: Or who could be the target. He heard a groan: Oh no! Running over, he saw he hadn't placed the knockout directly in her arm. "Great!" he thought. He ran out of the room, placing the disk back in her skirt's pocket. When she woke up, she remember Jarlaxle. "Oh yeah, he'll be sorry!" she said. She pushed the disk in her pocket, got up and walked with loud steps towards the brig.
