Chapter One
The Agencies (part 1)
She felt like freezing in the cool wind. She pulled her hood tighter as she walked towards the building. Pushing a secret latch, Roseann forced the door opened by backing up against it. She shut the door behind her, and saw a few Secret Agents standing there. She laughed. "Hello, everyone." They looked at her. "Chief Roseann!" they shouted, seeing why she laughed. She had slipped on the sidewalk and cut herself badly. She had a wound about half an inch deep, one inch long on her arm. She shook her head. "I can barely feel the piercing pain," she said. Roseann had always been stern, but not grumpy. Roseann was nice if you could get to her soft spot. Her pretty dark, brown hair was hidden in the hood. When she pulled off the hood, her hair fell to her back. The Secret Agents stared at her. "Here are the morning's reports," said Sarah, handing her a folder. Roseann took it. She was reading the reports until she lifted her head. "Sometimes I wish I could just stay in bed all morning!" she said. "Don't we all?" said a voice from behind the crowd. They all slowly turned their heads, seeing a girl, twisting her curly black hair. "Secret Agent Bella!" Roseann snapped. The crowd of Secret Agents gasped. Secret Agent Bella laughed at Roseann. "Just because you are the chief doesn't mean you can boss us all around!" she said. Roseann stepped back, shocked at her remark. "How dare you!" she said. She put her hands on her hips. She turned around and stomped out of the room into the cool, beautiful Summer morning. Leaning against the wall of the mall's back, she put her hand to her face and cried.
* Meanwhile.... *
Buck bounced into the bouncy castle in a flash. He was past all the people chatting around it. As soon as he was in the nearest shadow he could find, he transported back to base. A second later, he was in front of his friend. Buck's friend was called Bill. "So how did the mission go?" asked Bill. "Superb," replied Buck as he showed his friend the weapon and the money. Bill was awestruck. "Wow," was all Bill could say. Buck smiled and walked away. "Here's your next mission!" Bill shouted as he pressed the, "Enter," button on his computer. Buck took his sunglasses out of his bag and put them on. Instantly all the data for the mission appeared. "So there's a traitor..." began Buck. "Don't tell the readers!" shouted Bill without hesitation. Buck shrugged and leaped out the window.
A second later he was running and jumping over alleys and rooftops. His destination was close. Well, far away, but he would manage. A couple minutes later, he had traveled about two thousand miles. His destination was in this building. "An abandoned building," thought Buck as he silently got in through an open window. A loud voice echoed behind all the other agents. Blinding light hit him as he entered the hall, but his sunglasses protected him from it. His glasses started hacking into the agency database as he saw the hundreds and hundreds of agents sitting in seats in a vast hall. This was only the beginning of his mission.
